The resort is situated near Taizicheng Railway Station, from which high-speed trains can send passengers to the capital in about 50 minutes. Connecting trams will cover some Olympic supporting facilities including the awards plaza, shopping streets, an international exhibition center and hotels.

The 1.6-km tram line is designed for short trips between the resort's major elements. It passes and stops at key spots within the resort, including a heritage park. Along the rail are six stations for the first-stage project. More stations are envisioned for the future.
