Endangered monkeys get safe passage

A skywalk corridor for monkeys is being built above an expressway in the mountains of Chongzuo, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, to maintain access to habitat for the species.
The expressway is near the Encheng National Nature Reserve, where about 130 Francois' leaf monkeys live. They are one of China's most endangered animals. The expressway, which is under construction, will pass the reserve and may influence free immigration and feeding of the monkeys. Some adult males could even walk unknowingly into danger across expressway lanes.
