LEGOLAND Shanghai to begin trial run ahead of its grand official opening on July 5th this year.
LEGOLAND Shanghai Resort, set to be the world’s largest LEGOLAND destination, announced on Monday that it will begin trial operations this Saturday. These test runs are part of the resort’s final preparations before its grand opening.
During this phase, select guests will be invited to experience the park’s offerings. Their feedback will help refine every element, from rides and dining to entertainment and accommodations, ensuring top-tier standards in quality and enjoyment.
The resort will gradually open different areas over the coming weeks, using visitor input to make any necessary adjustments and perfect the overall guest experience ahead of its official debut.
Situated in Jinshan District of Shanghai, the expansive 318,000-square-meter LEGOLAND resort caters to families with children aged 2 to 12. It boasts more than 75 interactive attractions, including rides, live shows, and themed areas filled with thousands of LEGO creations across eight uniquely designed zones.
Shanghai is quickly emerging as a hotspot for global theme park investment, driven by China’s booming leisure and tourism sectors. The LEGOLAND Shanghai project builds on the momentum created by the successful launch of the Shanghai Disney Resort.
