Measures implemented to assist students sitting gaokao

Shijiazhuang takes thoughtful measures to assist gaokao students
To better serve students who will take the upcoming gaokao, Shijiazhuang, the capital of Hebei province, has adopted multiple thoughtful measures including opening psychological counseling hotlines staffed by trained volunteers and professionals, Hebei Daily reported.
During the exam period, the city will also implement noise-reduction measures, including guidance for construction sites and public activities like square dancing, to minimize disruptions for test-takers. Temporary sun shelters, special waiting areas, purified water and stationery kits (containing 2B pencils, erasers and pens) will be provided for students and parents.
Additionally, emergency medical stations will be set up near exam sites, offering basic first aid and health monitoring. Volunteer drivers will also be available to provide free transportation for students in need.
