By launching a digital household registration system and a 'heritage-backed loan' program, Zhuqiao village in Jinxi county, Jiangxi province, has become a model for rural revitalization. [Photo by Wang Songsong for Chinadaily.com.cn]

The impacts extend far beyond architecture. According to Yu Qian, Party secretary of Zhuqiao village, Zhuqiao's revival has created a thriving local economy, generating over 300 jobs in tourism and hospitality with an average monthly wage of 3,000 yuan.

Besides, the village now attracts both history enthusiasts and movie scouts, having served as a filming location for major productions.
