Large Medium SmallThe Guangzhou Administrative Committee of Urban Management has restarted a 200-million-yuan ($32.26 million) award plan for its district branches.
According to the committee's website, district branches will be given financial awards annually when they receive high scores on their assessments.
The assessment includes 18 aspects, including garbage classification and the city environment.
The Guangzhou city government has approved the plan, which aims to encourage branches of the committee to keep the city clean.
The plan was first proposed by the committee in April 2012.
