Texas man found asleep in closet with a dead man

HOUSTON – Authorities have charged a man with three drug offenses after Harris County Precinct 4 Constable deputies found him asleep in a closet with a dead man in a vacant house. Deputies on Sunday discovered 21-year-old man and the body of a man after the owner of the house and his family went to the house.
They reported voices and signs of forced entry about 1 p.m. Authorities declined to identify the dead man.
Prosecutors said the suspect treated the body in an offensive manner and charged him with abuse of a corpse. That charge was dropped Monday during a probable cause hearing.
