Zhou Minwei was born in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, in February 1963. With a bachelor’s degree, he started work in August 1983 and joined the CPC in June 1985. Zhou is now chairman of the Wuxi committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and secretary of the Wuxi Party leadership group.
