BOE at ready with intelligent manufacturing in Chongqing

The Chongqing branch of BOE Technology Group in the Liangjiang New Area is projected to put its intelligent electronic systems into operation this December.
Beginning construction in Oct 2016, BOE's major plant was completed on June 17 at a total investment cost of 1.53 billion yuan ($223 billion).
The major plant features an intelligent manufacturing production system consisting of a modular automated production line and intelligent warehousing and logistics systems, which will be utilized to apply advanced technological solutions for products research, development, design and manufacturing.
Once in use, the plant will be able to produce 10 million LCD screens and vehicle display devices at an annual production value of about 8 billion yuan.
BOE will build a chain of intelligent display terminals in Chongqing, providing an annual production value of over 20 billion yuan after employing the intelligent manufacturing system in the production of 8.5 generation LCD panels.
