A market fair featuring museum merchandise is going on at the Zikawei Library Shanghai from May 16 to 18, which is the first of a series of events in celebration of the opening of the 2025 Shanghai Cultural Heritage Season.
According to the municipal administration of culture and tourism, the 2025 Shanghai Culture Heritage Season will center around the International Museum Day on May 18 and China's Cultural and Natural Heritage Day, which is the second Saturday in every June since 2006.
Going on from May 16 to the end of June, the city's museums, memorial centers and other cultural institutions will launch six major theme activities, including exhibitions, music tours, markets, art education and so on, to present an immersive cultural experience for citizens and tourists.
