Designer Li Manna is on a mission to help you see Xiangyunsha (gambiered Guangdong silk) from a new perspective — a graceful silk fabric that can fit into a modern-day wardrobe.
Guangdong's intangible heritage ambassador is passionate about the ongoing drive to rescue this 500-year-old craft from fading into obscurity, and redefine it through collaborations with students from Guangzhou textile schools to transform the sun-and-river-mud-finished textile into sleek silhouettes.
